20Six

Vuoi vedere che qualcuno, prima o poi, riesce a tirare fuori qualche lira dai blog?

A trio of European dot-com survivors have embarked on one of the Internet’s promising, but niche, new businesses as they launched on Wednesday a Web publishing business for Internet diarists. Stefan Glanzer, Stefan Wiskemann and Christoph Linkwitz, founders of the once high-flying German Internet auction site Ricardo.de, have used some of the proceeds from its 100 million pound ($163.5 million) sale in 2001 to launch what has been dubbed Europe’s first commercial service for Web loggers, or “bloggers.”
The service is called 20Six. On Wednesday it went live in four European countries, Britain (www.20six.co.uk), Germany (www.20six.de), France (www.20six.fr) and the Netherlands (www.20six.nl), the privately held company said.

dubito fortemente. ricardo e’ stato un grande flop (anche se non per loro), con miliardi a palate sono di fatto stati strabattuti in Germania da Alando.de, sei giovanotti senza una lira poi acquistati per miliardi e miliardi da eBay. E il sito mi sembra troppo commercial-markettaro per avere una chance quando ci sono Blogger e soprattutto TypePad…

Anch’io credo che il futuro sarà di TypePad. I Trott sono bravi e stanno mettendo tutti i pezzi al loro giusto posto.
